Elba Isola Musicale d'Europa – International Festival

The 2025 edition brought together over 60 artists from 19 nations for sixteen concerts, ranging from Baroque and classical repertoire to the 20th century and jazz. The festival opened with Gidon Kremer and Arvo Pärt's Fratres, in tribute to the composer's 90th birthday. Among the most anticipated moments were Martha Argerich's concert on September 3 at the Teatro dei Vigilanti "Renato Cioni" in Portoferraio, featuring music by Schumann and Shostakovich, and the festival debut of cellist Edgar Moreau. Venues included the Captaincy Garden, the Roman Villa of the Grottoes, the Pisan Fortress of Marciana, and the Church of S. Chiara d'Assisi in Marciana Marina.
