Edition 2025 — Effetto Blu

The 2025 edition of Effetto Blu was held on Saturday, May 31, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, dedicated to promoting the Casalecchio Lock and the Reno Canal. A widespread day across three locations — Casalecchio Lock, Casa delle Acque, and Casa dei Ghiacci — with guided tours, bike tours, shows for families, workshops, tastings, and a sunset aperitif.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the Effetto Blu event took place, a day of cultural and educational events dedicated to the Casalecchio Lock, the oldest hydraulic work still in use in Europe and recognized by UNESCO. The program, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, was spread across three locations in Casalecchio di Reno: the Casalecchio Lock (Via Porrettana 187), the Casa delle Acque (House of Waters, Via Lido 15), and the Casa dei Ghiacci (House of Ice, Via Scaletta 1).

The day featured guided tours, themed bike tours along the canals, puppet shows and activities for families, creative workshops, convivial moments, tastings, and a sunset aperitif with live "in blue" music. Some activities were paid and required booking at [email protected].
