Edition 2025 — Ecomed

The 17th edition of Ecomed – Mediterranean Green Expo was held from April 15 to 17, 2025, at SiciliaFiera in Misterbianco, just outside Catania. With over 450 exhibitors expected, it was the largest edition ever, dedicated to renewable energy, water resource management, urban regeneration, sustainable mobility, and the circular economy. Three days of conferences brought together academia, businesses, and public administrations under the coordination of Prof. Giuseppe Mancini of the University of Catania.

Ecomed 2025: the 17th edition

From April 15 to 17, 2025, the SiciliaFiera center in Misterbianco (Catania) hosted the seventeenth edition of Ecomed – Mediterranean Green Expo, confirming its position as the largest event in Southern Italy dedicated to the environment and sustainability, with over 450 exhibitors expected.

A three-day program

The first day, dedicated to the circular transition, featured sessions on innovation, renewable energy communities (REC), and green hydrogen. On April 16, the focus was on energy and environment with wind power, hydrogen, WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), the "Mayors' Marathon", and smart cities. The final day addressed green building, photovoltaics, and territorial regeneration. Among the flagship formats were Aqua 2030 on the integrated water cycle and the fourth edition of the Hydrogen Green Expo on the industrial green hydrogen supply chain.
