Edition 2025 — EcoArt Festival
The third edition of the EcoArt Festival was held in Calatafimi-Segesta in November 2025, under the theme «Dressing the Future: creative reuse in the heart of history». The inauguration took place on Wednesday, November 26 at 5:00 PM in the Municipal Library Conference Hall, in Piazza Plebiscito, featuring the performance «Metamorphosis» by Marilena Sciortino and Miriam Mazara.
On November 25, 26, and 27, creative workshops were held (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM) between the Reuse Center in the Affacciatura district and the Municipal Library, aimed primarily at young people. The closing ceremony, including the artist awards, took place on November 28 in the presence of Mayor Francesco Gruppuso and the municipal council.
Artists from various cities in Sicily and Italy created works using recycled textile materials provided by the ReNe Circular Brand cooperative, led by president Massimo Pascale. From December 1 to 28, the installation «Art that heals the world» was exhibited in the Segesta Archaeological Park, in dialogue with the archaeological landscape.
