Eco Festa Contadina

The tenth edition of the Eco Festa Contadina took place in Torremaggiore starting on Saturday, August 30, 2025, in Piazzale Palma Piacquaddio, with evenings beginning at 7:00 PM. The event, organized by the Confraternita Misericordie di Torremaggiore with the support of the Municipality and the Department of Agriculture, once again celebrated the rural culture of the Capitanata.

Highlights included the tasting stalls for traditional dishes and the traditional pancotto competition, a symbol of local cuisine. On stage, alongside singers from the Gargano area—from the Cantori Paesani to the Cantori di Carpino, with Nazario Tartaglione and Andrea Maiorano—the special guest was Eugenio Bennato with his "Musica del mondo 2025" show. The festival was intertwined with the "Suggestioni Sub Flore" exhibition, dedicated to Frederick II and Castel Fiorentino. Free admission.
