Ecce Homo 2025 in Giuliano di Lecce

The 2025 edition of "Ecce Homo" took place on Sunday, April 13, and Sunday, April 27, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM and departing from via Regina Elena. The itinerant performance crossed the streets of the historic center of Giuliano di Lecce, staging the final hours of Jesus' life: from the Garden of Olives to the arrest, from the flagellation to the crucifixion, and finally the Resurrection.

Performed by the residents of the small community themselves, of various ages, the event was promoted by the San Giovanni Crisostomo Parish of Giuliano (parish priest Father Andrea Malagnino), with direction and screenplay by Alessandro Minerva, and received the patronage of the Province of Lecce, the Municipality of Castrignano del Capo, and the Union of Municipalities of Terra di Leuca.
