Edition 2025 — Easter Monday in Archaeology
The 2025 edition of Easter Monday in Archaeology took place on April 21st in Canosa di Puglia, in the BAT province. The Amici dell'Archeologia Association, together with the Fondazione Archeologica Canosina, organized the "A walk through time" tour, offering it in two shifts, at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, to accommodate a larger number of visitors.
The guided itinerary included the Mausoleum of Bohemond of Hauteville (12th century), the Scocchera B Hypogeum (4th-3rd century BC), the Baptistery of San Giovanni (6th century), and the Roman Domus (1st century BC - 1st century AD), along with the special opening of the San Leucio Archaeological Park. In 2025, participants were also able to enjoy set menus at participating restaurants to conclude the day with a traditional lunch. The initiative was held under the patronage of the Municipality of Canosa di Puglia and the Apulia Region.
