Easter in Figline e Incisa Valdarno

The 2025 edition stood out for its multi-day program and several significant novelties. On Saturday, April 19, at the Sbandieratori headquarters in Piazza Marsilio Ficino, a photography exhibition dedicated to the Easters before the 1960s was inaugurated, curated by the Circolo Fotografico Arno, followed by rehearsals for the historical pageant and the traditional opening of the giant Easter egg with chocolate offered to citizens by the Pro Loco Marsilio Ficino.

On Easter Sunday, the historical pageant of the Contrade opened the day at 10:30 AM, preceding the mass at the Collegiata di Santa Maria. After the service, the public witnessed the Scoppio del Carro and the flag-wavers' performance, which was dedicated that year to Romano Sorelli. Among the 2025 novelties were the presence of costumed figures from the Partita a Scacchi di Marostica and a new grandstand on the Loggia del Grano side of Piazza Ficino.
