Edition 2025 — "E' nato povero" Living Nativity

In January 2025, the Pietre Vive aps association once again staged the "E' nato povero" Living Nativity in Lizzano, confirming an event now deeply rooted in the Christmas calendar of the Taranto town. The sacred Nativity performance, interpreted by local children and families, animated the Piazzale Convento with scenes, workshops, and living tableaux dedicated to the birth of Jesus.

The 2025 edition of the "E' nato povero" Living Nativity took place in Lizzano, in the province of Taranto, during the first days of January at Piazzale Convento and the Church of San Pasquale Baylon. The performance, managed by the Pietre Vive aps association with the patronage of the Municipality of Lizzano, featured the itinerant route that guides visitors through the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. As every year, the protagonists were primarily local children and families, who wore traditional costumes to bring the Nativity scenes to life. Admission was free and open to all.
