Edition 2025 — Due Mari Run

The second edition of the Due Mari Run took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, with the start and finish at Viale Virgilio, near the Giardini del Virgilio. Over 900 athletes ran the approximately 9-kilometre course along the seafront, the swing bridge, and the evocative Old Town. The race was part of the Taranto European Capital of Sport 2025 calendar.

The second edition of the Due Mari Run took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, with the start and finish on Viale Virgilio, next to the Giardini del Virgilio. Organised by ASD Nuova Atletica Taranto, the race attracted over 900 participants.

The course, covering about 9 kilometres, crossed the city's seafront, the famous swing bridge, and the alleys of the Old Town. The event served as the third stage of the regional Corripuglia circuit and the fourth of the provincial Grand Prix "Sulle strade dello Jonio", as well as acting as a test run for the 2 Mari Marathon in November. The edition was included in the Taranto European Capital of Sport 2025 programme.

The winners were Michele Uva among the men and Francesca Pastore among the women.
