Edition 2025 — Due Castelli Urban Trail

In 2025, the Due Castelli Urban Trail had not yet been established; the event officially debuted in April 2026. During those months, the idea of connecting the Castello della Manta and the Castello di Verzuolo with an urban trail and a walk was being developed by the Podistica Valle Varaita and the municipalities of Manta and Verzuolo, laying the groundwork for the following year's debut.

Towards the first edition

The Due Castelli Urban Trail & Two Castles Walk was officially launched in 2026. Throughout 2025, the project that would link two symbols of the Saluzzo area, the Castello della Manta and the Castello di Verzuolo, was taking shape through a running route across the hills and parks of the Manta municipality, in the province of Cuneo.

The initiative, born from the collaboration between Podistica Valle Varaita and local administrations, aimed to enhance the historical and landscape heritage of the Piedmontese territory by combining sport and culture. The public's response to the first edition in 2026, with over a thousand participants, confirmed the success of the vision.
