Dragon Walk – Stories and Legends in Casale Corte Cerro

The "Scopriamo Girolago" series, promoted by the Lake Orta and Mottarone Ecomuseum, enlivened the spring of 2025 with guided walks through the woods and villages around Lake Orta. The walks, accessible to families and enthusiasts, combined hiking, culture, and popular tradition, accompanying participants to discover the artistic and environmental treasures of the Cusio, Mottarone, and Valle Strona areas, the reference territory of the Ecomuseo Cusius. In the context of these initiatives, the theme of the legends of Saint George and the dragons that characterizes Casale Corte Cerro also found its place.
