Four days of music, sport, and solidarity in the U.S. Bollatese area
The Dragon Festival is one of the most cherished events in Bollate, a city in the Metropolitan City of Milan. Organized by Amici di Davide il Drago (Friends of Davide the Dragon) in collaboration with U.S. Bollatese and other local organizations, it enlivens the sports area in via Claudio Varalli for four days with music, sports, food, and family fun.
The program alternates evening concerts with cover and tribute bands, sports tournaments and exhibitions by local associations, and many recreational activities: giant inflatables, mechanical bull, and games for children. The food offering is rich and varied โ from paella to fried foods, from hamburgers to pork knuckle and arrosticini โ to accompany the late evenings.
What characterizes the Dragon Festival is its strong solidarity value: the proceeds from the event are donated to organizations and associations selected by the organizers. Born in memory of Davide, "the dragon," the festival has grown over the years, maintaining the spirit of community and solidarity that distinguishes it.
