Edition 2025 — Donkey Festival

The 6th edition of the Donkey Festival - Fera de Barni took place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the Piana di Barni. The donkey exhibition-competition (9:00 AM-4:00 PM), with presentations at 10:00 AM and awards at 3:00 PM, was combined with the chestnut festival, workshops, markets, and food stalls with polenta and zola and polenta and braised meat.

The 6th edition of the Donkey Festival - Fera de Barni was held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the Piana di Barni, in the Larian Triangle, province of Como.

The donkey exhibition-competition enlivened the day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with presentations at 10:00 AM, voting until 2:00 PM, and awards at 3:00 PM. Around this, the chestnut festival, craft demonstrations, markets along Via Colombo, Piazza Pio XI, and Via Volta, family activities, and stalls with polenta and zola, polenta and braised meat, and street food. Organized by CulturaBarni, Pro Loco Barni, and Gruppo Alpini Barni.
