Nine days of food, music, and community at the Brembate oratory
In Brembate, a municipality in the Province of Bergamo on the Brembo river, the Don Todeschini Oratory Festival is one of the most anticipated events of early summer. For nine days, the village oratory becomes the heart of community life, with food, music, and recreational activities designed for all ages.
Each evening follows a tried-and-tested script: aperitif at the bar, food with a grill and wood-fired pizza, and the traditional lucky wheels with prizes. The food stalls offer traditional dishes in an informal and family atmosphere, where you can meet up with friends and neighbors for dinner.
The program is enhanced by numerous entertainment evenings: concerts, acoustic duos, aerial dance shows, and tribute bands liven up the oratory until late at night. On Sundays, the religious dimension is added with Holy Mass in the oratory, in line with the nature of the festival, deeply linked to parish life.
Managed by the oratory volunteers, the festival is much more than a village fair: it is a moment of aggregation that brings the Brembate community together, from children to the elderly. Like many oratory festivals in the Bergamasca area, it represents a precious social glue and an opportunity to support the activities of the oratory, a true educational and recreational hub for the village.
The 2026 edition of the Don Todeschini Oratory Festival enlivens Brembate (BG) from May 29 to June 7. Nine days with food, wood-fired pizza, grill, and bar every evening, accompanied by musical evenings and entertainment for the whole family.
