Doi misteri de 'na bota (Festival of Ancient Crafts in Carciato)

The August 24, 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of "Doi misteri de 'na bota" took place on Sunday, August 24, in Carciato, a hamlet of Dimaro Folgarida (Val di Sole, Trentino).

The day kicked off at 9:00 AM with a guided excursion to the Val Meledrio Ecomuseum sites, featuring a visit to the working Venetian Sawmill and Ancient Forge, narration by Udalrico Fantelli, and accompaniment by a mountain guide; arrival in Carciato was scheduled for around noon with the opening of the food stalls.

In the afternoon, demonstrations of ancient crafts followed:

• 2:30 PM — Hay cutting and harvesting;
• 3:30 PM — Demonstration of "caserada" and preparation of "mosa";
• 4:30 PM — Flax processing by the Val di Pejo Ecomuseum;
• 5:00 PM — "Armonici Cantori Solandri" in the church;
• 6:00 PM — Folk Group;
• 6:30 PM — Sasso Rosso Band of Dimaro.

From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, workshops for children were held, including storytelling by the "Om dele Storie," "Of wool, clay, and brushes: women of ancient enchantment," and the creation of wooden houses with the "Flower Fairy." Throughout the day, food stalls offered typical products for lunch and dinner.
