Edition 2025 — Do You Know Our Woods? – Tione
The Tione leg on October 5, 2025
The 2025 edition of "Do You Know Our Woods?" brought one of its most anticipated legs to Tione degli Abruzzi, scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025. The walk, titled "3xTrekking", was organized by the Massimo Lelj Association and the Santa Maria del Ponte Association, who guided participants along the municipal trails.
The leg was part of a calendar that in 2025 touched numerous villages in the valley, from San Benedetto in Perillis to Fontecchio, from Secinaro to San Demetrio ne' Vestini, with the support of guides from Orsa Maggiore Trekking e Ambiente. In Tione degli Abruzzi, in the province of L'Aquila, the heritage walk combined forest exploration with the history and rural traditions of the Aterno Valley, in a day dedicated to slow tourism and the discovery of Abruzzo's forest heritage.
