Certosa Village 2025, the edition that paved the way

Before Diano Street Food was born, the summer program of the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula, in the province of Salerno, focused on performances. In 2025, Certosa Village offered four events in August: Stefano De Martino on August 16, a double evening with Rovazzi and Gaia on August 23, Serena Rossi on August 25, and Sal Da Vinci on August 30, all in the outdoor spaces of the monastic complex.

The success of that season encouraged the organizers to build a broader offering around the shows, one more closely tied to the identity of the Vallo di Diano. Hence the decision, announced at the end of June 2026, to add a true food village to the lineup, featuring over twenty local dishes, Cilento wine tastings, and a space dedicated to local associations and producers. Diano Street Food was thus born in 2026 as a natural evolution of an event that, as early as 2025, had already brought thousands of people to the foot of Europe's largest Charterhouse.
