Edition 2025 — Dialect Theatre Festival
Four evenings of dialect theatre
The 6th edition of the Dialect Theatre Festival was held from 18 to 21 August 2025 in Piazzale San Francesco in San Filippo del Mela, marking the grand return of the event after years of suspension. Four amateur troupes from the Valle del Mela took turns on stage with as many Sicilian dialect comedies, in front of a large audience.

- 19 August — "Colapesce" Theatre Association of Pace del Mela, "Un fidanzato per due figlie"
- 20 August — "…A crepapelle" Theatre Company of Pace del Mela, "Bedda di fora…fracita di intra"
- 21 August — Local company, "Mal di luna", a two-act comedy by Saverio Castanotto directed by Luigi Mandanici
The festival, coordinated by the "Le nuove immagini" association and promoted by the Municipality of San Filippo del Mela (ME), concluded with great satisfaction from the administration, which highlighted its value in recovering traditions and bringing the community together.
