Di corsa per Telethon

The eighth edition of Di corsa per Telethon took place in Catania on Thursday, May 1, 2025, with the meeting point, start, and finish at Piazza Università, in the heart of the city center. The 10 km competitive race, classified as a national FIDAL bronze label event, recorded 91 finishers.

The men's race was won by Davide Salvati (Podistica Messina) with a time of 34:48, ahead of Paolo Scimonello and Adriano Abbisogni. Among the women, victory went to Patrizia Strazzeri (Scuola Atletica Leggera Catania) in 42:55. Alongside the competitive race, a non-competitive race of the same distance and a 2 km fun run were held. The event, organized by the ASD Scuola di Atletica Leggera Catania, was part of the Running Sicily-Coppa PackItalia circuit and confirmed its charitable purpose in support of Telethon research into rare genetic diseases.
