Edition 2025 — Dead Christ Procession
The 2025 edition of the Dead Christ Procession was held on Friday, April 18, Good Friday, at 7:30 PM, at the Sanctuary of San Gaspare del Bufalo in Albano Laziale. As per tradition, the parade crossed the main streets of the historic center with figures in period costumes, accompanied by the town band and choir, drawing numerous faithful from the Castelli Romani. The procession concluded on the churchyard of the Church of San Paolo with the Sacred Representation of the Passion and the blessing with the relic of the Holy Cross, in one of the most deeply felt rites of Holy Week in Lazio.
