Dallow Deer Festival

The 15th edition of the Deer Festival was held in Pelago (Florence) on the weekend of April 5 and 6, 2025, in the spaces of the G. La Pira Pastoral Center on Via Vallombrosana. The town near Florence offered its tasty game-based specialties for two days.

The 25-euro fixed-price menu included pasta with venison ragù, venison peposo, oven-roasted venison leg, and side dishes, as well as dessert and Vin Santo, with water and wine included. For those who did not want game, grilled steak was available, to be requested at the time of booking. The food stands opened on Saturday from 7:00 PM and Sunday from 12:30 PM, with mandatory reservations managed by the La Banduccia team.
