The first edition of DainoFest

The first edition of DainoFest took place in Petralia Sottana from December 6 to 8, 2025, in the heart of the High Madonie. The village streets were filled with tastings and menus based on fallow deer meat, accompanied by Christmas markets featuring artisans and Madonie specialties, as well as spaces dedicated to local companies.

The initiative, born from the joint work of the Madonie Park Authority, producers, and restaurateurs, addressed the issue of managing the overpopulation of fallow deer in the Park, transforming an ecological challenge into a resource for the territory through meetings and educational sessions on the theme of sustainable development.
