The non-competitive spring walk for families
The Dad's March is one of the most traditional walks in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso. It is a non-competitive, free-pace fun-motor activity, organized by the AGESCI (Italian Catholic Guide and Scout Association) Group of Oderzo with the patronage of the Municipality, on the occasion of Father's Day.
Now in its thirtieth edition, the march attracts hundreds of participants every year - including families, amateur runners, and walkers - along a route that winds through the historic center and the countryside of Oderzo. The main distance is about 8 kilometers, with routes designed to be accessible to everyone.
The organization entrusted to AGESCI scouts gives the event a community and family character: the Dad's March is not a race, but a moment of outdoor celebration that combines sport, social interaction, and attention to families, on one of the first Sundays of spring.
The 37th edition of the Dad's March was held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Oderzo. The non-competitive walk, organized by AGESCI scouts with the patronage of the Municipality, offered a main route of approximately 8 kilometers through the historic center and the countryside of Oderzo, starting in the morning. The event recorded about 750 participants, including runners and walkers, with numerous sports groups from the area.
Award for the largest group at the end of the event.
Oderzo can be reached by car from the A28 motorway (Oderzo exit) or from the A27 via Conegliano. Oderzo train station is on the Venice-Udine line. Meeting point and start in the historic center.
Non-competitive event open to all. Departure is scheduled for the morning; registration on site or through the AGESCI Group of Oderzo.
