The 2025 Cerda Artichoke Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cynara Festival brought back the traditional spring festival dedicated to the Cerda Spiny Artichoke to Cerda (Palermo). For several days, around the traditional date of April 25th, the town center came alive with food stalls, tastings of the artichoke in all its variations, folk performances, dance school shows, concerts, and cabaret evenings.

As per tradition, the heart of the event was Piazza La Mantia with its famous artichoke monument. The event, with free admission and organized by the Municipality of Cerda, confirmed the community's strong bond with its signature product and the historic Targa Florio, reaffirming the festival's role as one of the most beloved food and wine events in the province of Palermo.
