Cuntu, N'Cantu e Manciu (Castellammarese Cassatella Festival)

The Castellammarese cassatella is one of the most iconic products of Castellammare del Golfo, in the province of Trapani. This fried pastry, filled with fresh sheep's milk ricotta and chocolate chips and dusted with powdered sugar, is deeply rooted in the Sicilian confectionery tradition associated with holidays.

The promotion of the cassatella and local master pastry chefs has long been at the heart of the Municipality's cultural and gastronomic initiatives, which served as a prelude to the Cuntu, N'Cantu e Manciu event, entirely dedicated to this pastry in the historic center of the seaside village.
