Edition 2025 — Cultural Membranes

In 2025, the Cultural Membranes series, following its first edition in 2023, was hosted by the National Art Gallery of Bologna, in collaboration with the Orchestra Senzaspine. From June to October, a distributed program brought music, performances, dance, and visual arts to the museum spaces, with free admission events requiring booking.

Cultural Membranes 2025 at the Bologna National Art Gallery

After the success of the first edition in 2023, in 2025 Cultural Membranes returned to the National Art Gallery of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna, with a program extended from June to October. The series, organized in collaboration with the Orchestra Senzaspine, intertwined concerts, performances, dance, workshops, and installations in the museum's spaces.

The project's goal was to revive the city's historical-artistic heritage through accessible and free live performances, open to a broad and diverse audience. All events were free admission with mandatory booking. This Bologna edition preceded the series' arrival at the Abbey of Pomposa in 2026.
