Edition 2025 — Courtyard Stories

Courtyard Stories was created as the closing appointment of the Festival of Knowledge, the widespread cultural project of the Lanzo, Ceronda, and Casternone Valleys presented in 2026. In Corio, in the heart of the Canavese, the initiative gathers the long tradition of open courtyards and cultural walks in Piedmontese villages: a way to rediscover corners, memories, and knowledge of the village by walking through the courtyards of the historic center.

Courtyard Stories in Corio (Metropolitan City of Turin) fits into the Piedmontese tradition of cultural walks and open courtyards, where the hidden spaces of the villages become places of storytelling and meeting for a day.

The initiative is linked to the Festival of Knowledge of the Lanzo, Ceronda, and Casternone Valleys, the cultural network that enhances the tangible and intangible heritage of the Turin mountains through widespread events in the municipalities of the territory. In Corio, the appointment maintains the spirit of a community that tells its story among its own courtyards, at the gates of the Lanzo Valleys.
