Costano Porchetta Festival

The 2025 edition, the 50th, celebrated the festival's half-century with a special edition. Over 22,000 dishes were served over the ten days, thanks to the work of 250 volunteers from the APS Gruppo Giovanile Costano, led by president Simone Bordichini.

The opening, on August 21st, was entrusted to the event "La Sagra si Racconta" (The Festival Tells Its Story). The menu featured, alongside the classic porchetta, celebratory dishes such as "Pasta al Forno del 50°" (50th Anniversary Baked Pasta), "Quaranta" ravioli with porchetta and Umbrian DOP oil, "Recchia e Zampetto" (Ear and Foot), and roasted pork knuckle with potatoes. On the music front, dancing evenings with orchestras and shows like "Voglio Tornare negli Anni '90" (I Want to Go Back to the 90s) enlivened the festival in Costano, a hamlet of Bastia Umbra.
