Edition 2025 — Cortina Local Festival

In 2025, the Cortina Local Festival once again enlivened the historic centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo, bringing together the Ampezzo community and visitors amidst a market, stalls, and the traditional challenges between the six 'regole' with the 'palio della corsa', tug-of-war, and 'segagno'.

The 2025 edition of the Cortina Local Festival confirmed its formula as a popular celebration in the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno. Between the morning market stalls and the afternoon challenges among the districts ('regole'), the day brought together locals and tourists.

The six Ampezzo 'regole' — Alverà, Azzon, Cadin, Chiave, Cortina, and Zuel — competed in the 'palio della corsa', tug-of-war, and 'segagno', renewing traditions deeply rooted in the culture of the Ampezzo basin, in the heart of the UNESCO Dolomites.
