Cortina 56-26 — The Legacy Trail debuts in 2026 on the occasion of the seventy years between the 1956 Olympic Games and Milan-Cortina 2026: in 2025 the event has not yet taken place, it being a first edition linked to the Olympic year.

Cortina 56-26 — The Legacy Trail is a newly established event: its first edition is scheduled for July 25, 2026, coinciding with the Milan-Cortina Olympic year. In 2025, the race has not yet been held.

The initiative stems from the desire of the Cortina Foundation to celebrate the legacy of the 1956 Games by transforming the Olympic venues of Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno, into a trail running route open to athletes and enthusiasts.
