Corti Antiche 2025: The twentieth anniversary with the theme "Roots"

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the historic center of Atessa hosted the twentieth anniversary edition of Corti Antiche, organized by the Municipality of Atessa under the direction of the Gaia Cooperative and in collaboration with Legambiente. The theme of the year, "Roots", guided the entire event as a reflection on collective identity, memory, and the bond between past and future.

Amidst alleys, squares, and ancient palaces, the village transformed into a welcoming open-air meeting space where food, art, music, and community intertwined. The green and inclusive spirit of the event was confirmed: a plastic-free festival with biodegradable and compostable tableware, spaces and menus dedicated to children, and accessible routes for those with mobility issues. The Italian Sommelier Association and the Regional Wine Shop of the Cities of Wine collaborated on the tastings, alongside volunteers from the national Legambiente program.
