Treviso's Easter Monday is run in Selvana

The Corsa dei Vovi is a historic event in Treviso's running scene, linked to Easter Monday (Lunedì dell'Angelo). It takes place in the Selvana district of Treviso and is a non-competitive run, designed to experience the local area actively and collectively, far from the competitive spirit of a race. The dialectal name "vovi" refers to eggs, a symbol of Easter tradition.

Two routes in nature

Participants can choose between two routes immersed in greenery, between the Storga Park, the Limbraga area, villas, woods, and meadows: a shorter basic route, suitable for families and beginners, and a longer one for more experienced walkers and runners. The route passes through the areas of Acquette, Madonnetta, Storga, Biban, and Carbonera, ending at the festival area with the refreshment point.

Part of the Sagra di Selvana

The Corsa dei Vovi is an integral part of the Sagra di Selvana, the neighborhood festival that enlivens this area of Treviso. The combination of the Easter Monday race and the festival makes it a moment of strong community gathering for the neighborhood and the entire city, with over a thousand participants at each edition.
