Corsa Copertinese

The 3rd Corsa Copertinese was held on the evening of July 20, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM from Piazza del Popolo, on the usual 7.5 km urban course through the streets of Copertino's center. In the men's category, victory went to Alessandro Micheli (Podistica Magliese) with a time of 24:14, ahead of Gabriele Lezzi (Buttazzo Runners, 24:47) and Davide Spedicato (Podistica Magliese, 25:22). Among the women, Pamela Greco (Saracenatletica) won in 31:21, followed by Alice Edwige Diviggiano (Atl. Avis Mesagne, 31:27) and Julia Emman Mathilde Miannay (MFR Brindisi, 32:29). The edition, valid as a stage of the Running in Salento circuit, confirmed the Corsa Copertinese as one of the most popular events of the Salento summer running season.
