CorriCatania

The 17th edition of CorriCatania was held from May 8 to 11, 2025, confirming the event as one of the city's most beloved appointments. On Sunday, May 11, the traditional 5km fun run and walk started at 10:00 AM from Piazza Università to finish in Piazza Duomo, crossing Via Etnea, Villa Bellini, and Piazza Federico II di Svevia.

The event's symbol, the white t-shirt, represented participation in the year's solidarity project, "Auto della Donazione": thanks to the participants' donations, a medical vehicle equipped for blood transport was donated to the Italian Red Cross – Catania Committee. Since 2009, CorriCatania has involved over 250,000 people in total, transforming popular sport into a great gesture of solidarity for Catania and Sicily.
