Corri Aragona 2025 — the 12th edition
The twelfth edition of Corri Aragona was held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Aragona (Agrigento). Participants gathered in the afternoon on Via Roma for bib and chip distribution, with a single start at 7:00 PM and an awards ceremony at 8:30 PM. 186 runners representing 26 clubs took to the starting line, completing the usual 1,800-meter loop four times (7.2 km total) through Via Roma, Via Garibaldi, Via Mazzini, and Piazza Carmine.
In the men's category, Diego Sanfilippo (A.S.D. ProSport Castrofilippo) won with a time of 25'54", ahead of Calogero Seddio (26'37") and Fabrizio Calogero Aronica (26'41"). Among the women, Santina Militello (A.S.D. Campobello Corre) took the win in 28'45", followed by Nina Gulino (28'58") and Tania Militello (29'09"). Both winners successfully defended the titles they earned in 2024. The race was a qualifying event for the FIDAL Agrigento Provincial Grand Prix. "We are proud to have completed the twelfth edition: Aragona rallied around this race, which is not just sport but also a celebration and a moment of sharing," commented president Giuseppe Collura.
