Corpus Domini Procession in Ortisei

The 2025 edition of the Corpus Domini procession in Ortisei confirmed one of the most deeply rooted religious traditions of Val Gardena. As is customary, the parade of groups in traditional attire and the local band departed from Piazza Sant'Antonio to reach the parish church of St. Ulrich, where the solemn Mass was celebrated.

At the end, the Blessed Sacrament was carried in procession through the streets of the town center, with the devout participation of the entire Ladin community and the exquisite traditional Val Gardena costumes, preserved and promoted by the Val Gardena Costume Association of Ortisei.
