Corpus Domini – Flower Festivals

The 2025 edition of the Corpus Domini Flower Festivals in Monterosso Almo confirmed the vitality of a tradition now well-established in the Iblei village. As every year, the streets of the historic center were transformed into a gallery of hand-crafted floral carpets made with petals and flowers, in a dialogue between ephemeral art and faith.

The Eucharistic procession traversed the village at dusk, winding between decorated altars and fine blankets displayed from house balconies. A community event that draws residents and visitors to Monterosso Almo, in the province of Ragusa, to experience one of the most evocative moments of the Sicilian religious calendar.
