Corpus Domini Flower Festivals of Monterosso Almo

2025 Edition

In June 2025, Monterosso Almo renewed its appointment with the Corpus Domini flower festivals, one of the most deeply felt religious traditions of the Iblean village. The streets of the historic center were transformed into a path of colors thanks to the floral carpets created by the residents, while numerous devotional altars were set up along the route of the Eucharistic procession.

As is customary, the most scenic moment was the monumental carpet in Piazza Sant'Antonio. The evening procession, led by the local parish clergy, traveled through the main streets of the town in a climate of quiet reflection, confirming the strong bond between the community of Monterosso Almo and this identity-defining festival of southeastern Sicily.
