Corpus Domini Flower Festival

The 2025 edition of the Corpus Domini Flower Festival confirmed the strength of this Maremma tradition. From the early hours of the morning, volunteers from the "city of tuff" gathered in the streets of the historic center to sketch designs and fill them with petals, laurel and rosemary leaves, roses, gerberas, and sawdust, creating a long, multicolored floral carpet. In the evening, the solemn mass in the cathedral and the procession with the Blessed Sacrament along the flowered path crowned the celebration, amidst faith, folk art, and community participation. An event that involves the vast majority of Pitigliano's inhabitants every year.
