Edition 2025 — Gioia dei Marsi Flower Festival
The 2025 edition of the Corpus Domini Flower Festival in Gioia dei Marsi renewed a tradition now recognized throughout the Marsica region. Along Via Lamarmora, in front of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the village artisans created large crochet cotton panels depicting interpretations of the Eucharistic mystery, while in the hamlet of Casali di Aschi, decorations were composed with sawdust and flower petals.
The result of the patient work of dozens of women and the contribution of residents, the flower festival confirmed the deep bond between the local community, its faith, and its artistic vocation. The day concluded, as per tradition, with the Corpus Domini procession along the decorated route.
