Corpus Domini Flower Festival

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the village of Carunchio, in the province of Chieti, experienced a new, highly attended edition of the Corpus Domini Flower Festival. The community worked all day on composing the floral carpets along the streets of the historic center, with Eucharistic and religious-themed designs made with natural petals and leaves.

The solemn procession of the Blessed Sacrament crossed the decorated route in the evening, blessing the village and the devotion of those who had contributed to the setup. The event confirmed the vitality of a tradition that, edition after edition, unites faith, art, and the identity of the small Abruzzo village.
