Corpus Domini Eucharistic Procession along Via Etnea

Corpus Domini 2025 in Catania took place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, with the diocesan celebration presided over by Archbishop Mons. Luigi Renna. From the Cathedral, the Blessed Sacrament was carried in procession through the center of the city, among the houses, squares, and streets.

In his homily, inspired by the multiplication of the loaves, the Archbishop invited the faithful, priests, administrators, law enforcement, and educators to put "into the hands of Christ the little we have" so that "there may no longer be a hunger for humanity, that hunger which leads to violence," calling for commitment against school dropout rates and addictions.
