Corpus Domini Celebrations

The 2025 Corpus Domini Celebrations were held in Ormea from June 19th to 22nd. Thursday, June 19th and Friday, June 20th were dedicated to preparing and setting up the traditional floral garlands, which were hung along the main street starting Friday afternoon. On Saturday, June 22nd, from 2:30 PM, the "inghirlandamento" (garlanding) of Via Roma and the cleaning with the ancient "biale" method took place, followed at 9:00 PM by the concert of the Alta Val Tanaro Band in Piazza San Martino. Sunday was the most solemn moment, with the Holy Mass and the procession under the ceiling of laburnum garlands, the identity heart of the village's most important festival.
