Corpo Celeste – In Chiostri

The 2025 edition of Corpo Celeste animated Florence from July 21 to 29, with events distributed on July 21, 22, 24, 25, and 29. The project by Virgilio Sieni transformed some of the city's most evocative historic spaces into forms of encounter and practice focused on listening to the body.

Venues involved included: the Cenacolo di Andrea del Sarto, the Ex Monastero di Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Cenacolo di Ognissanti, the Istituto degli Innocenti, and the Chiostro del Convento di Santa Maria del Carmine. Each day opened with a practical gesture workshop led by Sieni, aimed at people of all ages and abilities, and concluded with a site-specific dance performance with live music, enriched by talks with scholars and the project "Idrosfera. L'acqua che cura la terra" (Hydrosphere. The water that heals the earth) curated by Acquifera APS. Admission was free.
