The festival and the territory

The choral festival of Carsoli and Pietrasecca, in the province of L'Aquila, stems from the activities of the Pietralunare Artistic and Cultural Association, an organization committed for years to promoting music and traditions in the Abruzzo region, with the patronage of the Municipality of Carsoli.

The initiative highlights the historic churches of the village and the mountain hamlet as listening venues, bringing choral singing — from sacred music to popular repertoires — to a dedicated audience. An event that strengthens the bond between music, community, and landscape in the Piana del Cavaliere, a border area between Abruzzo and Lazio.
