Amateur Theatre in Castion
«Coriandoli» is the amateur theatre review organized by Pro Loco Pieve Castionese APS at the San Gaetano Theatre in Castion, in the Municipality of Belluno. Five evenings, from late February to May, at 9:00 PM, give space to amateur companies from the Veneto region, featuring brilliant comedies and reflective theatre.
Local Companies
The review showcases the talent and passion of grassroots companies: among the participating groups are Gruppo teatrale Zumellese, I Comelianti, La Gazza Ladra – EtaBeta Teatro, and Associazione culturale G(h)ita. The performances alternate the lightness of comedy with more reflective themes of daily life – from job insecurity to family and social dynamics.
A Community Tradition
As part of the rich programming of the San Gaetano Theatre – which also hosts the contemporary theatre review «5Vie» – «Coriandoli» represents the most popular and participatory face of the Castion scene. For those living in or visiting Belluno and the Dolomites, it is an opportunity to support amateur theatre and spend an evening in good company, with laughter and food for thought, in a small theatre with great human warmth.

The 6th edition of the «Coriandoli» review took place from February 28 to May 9, 2026, at the San Gaetano Theatre in Castion, in the province of Belluno, with five evenings of amateur theatre at 9:00 PM. Companies from the Veneto region presented a program featuring both comedy and reflection.

- April 18 – «Un mercoledì come gli altri», Associazione culturale G(h)ita (existential comedy)
- May 9 – «Basta poco», La Gazza Ladra – EtaBeta Teatro (sequel on the theme of precarious pensions)
