National meeting of sacred music and choral singing in the heart of Marian spirituality
Corali a Loreto is the major event dedicated to sacred and liturgical music that transforms Loreto, in the province of Ancona, into a meeting point for choirs and choral groups from all over Italy every year. The heart of the event is the Pontifical Sanctuary of the Holy House, one of the most important Marian pilgrimage sites in Europe, which provides the backdrop for three intense days of singing, prayer, and sharing.
The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Laudate Dominum in Virgo Maria, in collaboration with the Fondazione Frammenti di Luce, A.R.Co.M. (Associazione Regionale Cori Marchigiani), and other local entities, with the support of the Pontifical Delegation and the Municipality of Loreto. A choral project that unites the artistic and spiritual dimensions, in the spirit that has animated this corner of the Marche for centuries.
Corali a Loreto is not just a simple gathering of choirs, but a real journey of growth. During the three days, choristers participate in:
The result is an experience that brings together dozens of choirs, each with its own tradition, around a common repertoire of sacred and liturgical music.
Singing in Loreto has a special meaning. The town in the Marche region, perched on a hill a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, houses the Holy House, a destination for pilgrims from all over the world. It is in this context, made of art, faith, and centuries of history, that the voices of the choirs find a special resonance, especially when they ring out in Piazza della Madonna in front of the majestic facade of the basilica. For lovers of choral music and spirituality, Corali a Loreto is an event to experience at least once.
The 2026 edition of Corali a Loreto takes place from July 3 to 5, 2026, confirming the summer appointment with sacred music and choral singing in the Marian city. For three days, the Sanctuary and the city of Loreto will host choirs from all over Italy.
The program includes moments of training, workshops, and laboratories led by authoritative experts in the field, as well as concerts and musical performances where choirs will share the beauty of the sacred and liturgical repertoire. The event is organized by the Associazione Laudate Dominum in Virgo Maria, with the support of the Pontifical Sanctuary of the Holy House.
Registration for choirs is open via an online form on the official website.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition (line-up of choirs, concert and workshop schedules) has not yet been published by the organization: starting from the opening of registrations in April 2026, the dates (July 3-5) and the usual structure of the event are confirmed.
Based on previous editions, the event is divided into three days with:
The complete program will be announced by the organization in the weeks preceding the event.
