COORDINATE Festival

The first edition of COORDINATE Festival inaugurated the project conceived by PROTEO ETS in Calcata, in the province of Viterbo, in August 2025. Conceived by Raffaella Appià, Patrizio Bucci, and Tommaso Petrolo, the festival brought contemporary dance and performing arts into the village spaces and the nature of the Valle del Treja Regional Park, with site-specific appointments also at Opera Bosco - Museum of Art in Nature, including the dance performance by Giulia Alvear Calderon at the Teatro di Pan.

The debut edition featured approximately 14 shows with 40 artists involved, attracting an average of 450 spectators per day and laying the foundations for a festival dedicated to the encounter between art, landscape, and community, with free admission.
