Edition 2025 — Contrade Day Asciano
In the spring of 2025, Asciano celebrated the arrival of the Treno Natura with the Contrade Day, as part of the spring season initiatives for the historic steam train along the Val d'Orcia line. A day of markets, gastronomy, and hospitality in the heart of the Crete Senesi, in the province of Siena.
The 2025 edition of the Contrade Day in Asciano was part of the spring calendar of the Treno Natura, the historic steam train that crosses the Crete Senesi and the Val d'Orcia. On the occasion of the train's arrival, the local Contrade enlivened the historic center with a market of local products, food stalls, and the festivities that have always characterized this day. An appointment that renews every year the bond between Asciano, its community, and the historic Val d'Orcia railway.
